Klargester BioDisc® BD to BG (19-70 people)*

Specialised high performance packaged sewage treatment plant for residential and commercial developments.

With the improved range of Bio Disc packaged waste water treatment plant, Klargester has built on its existing high performance product to deliver a treatment plant with even greater benefits. Not only will it meet the ever more stringent standards of controlling authorities, but it has also been value- engineered to give short and long term cost savings.

  • BioDisc BC to BG 3D imageWith the unique patented managed flow system this has been specifically designed to maintain optimum performance despite shock organic loadings and hydraulic surges. The detrimental effects of modern disinfectants and cleaning materials are minimised by the managed flow system.
  • The new Bio Disc provides a cost effective solution for small scale waste water treatment problems. A low energy drive system reduces power costs substantially below those of pump and blower powered alternatives. The high specification and reliability of all moving parts ensures a long trouble free life for a Bio Disc.
  • The Bio Disc is installed below ground level and is fitted with low profile covers, minimising visual impact but maximising access for desluging and essential maintenance. Near silent operation means that you will hardly know your Bio Disc is there.
  • Owls Hall offer a full commissioning and after sales service involving planned maintenance visits. Please visit our servicing section for more information.
  • In each Bio Disc is the rotating biological contractor which supports a biological active film or Bio mass. This consists of aerobic micro organisms, naturally occurring in sewage which breaks down the pollutants in the waste water flow.
  • Bio Discs BD-BG are suitable for both domestic and commercial waste water. They are ideal for small housing developments, hotels, public houses and other small commercial developments.
  • Nitrification models available where regulations require ammonia removal.
  • Code of Practice Flows and Loads - 2Two standard drain invert level options are available to match the site topography and where applicable, minimise the excavation depth which helps decrease the cost of installation.
  • Manufactured under the quality procedures of BS ISO9001: 2000
  • All treatment plants should preferably be no closer than 7m from the nearest habitable property to comply with local building authority regulations
